Our family’s roots run deep in the uranium mines of Blanding, Utah, where we learned to cope with the long-term effects of uranium exposure. After the passing of Travis and Chad Shumway’s grandfather from a uranium-related occupational illness, they were inspired to assist families facing similar struggles. This led to the founding of United Energy Workers Healthcare, which has become the national leader in home healthcare.
